Britt Sisseck
Britt Sisseck is a Danish brand defined by understated luxury, blending refined tailoring with a contemporary, feminine edge. Each piece is meticulously made, capturing a sense of enduring sophistication and graceful simplicity.

her story
Shaped by years spent living abroad, Britt Sisseck founded her eponymous label in 2014, drawing on a deep appreciation for precise tailoring and quality craftsmanship. Her journey began at Parsons School of Design in Paris, where she graduated in 1990, followed by the launch of her first clothing label during a period in Spain.
Returning to Copenhagen in 2000, Britt opened a boutique in the heart of the city, offering custom-made garments and a curated selection of eventwear. Her dedication to refined design and exceptional quality quickly earned her recognition, including the Scandinavian Design Prize in 2006 for her ready-to-wear collection.
After pausing to focus on family, Britt introduced her namesake label—a brand rooted in the structure and sensibility of men’s shirting, reimagined for women. Ten years later, Britt Sisseck has evolved into a wider collection that continues to bring quiet sophistication to everyday dressing.

Design Philosophy
Britt Sisseck brings a quiet sense of poetry to modern womenswear. From a delicate ladder-stitch to a structured cuff or the crisp fall of a striped shirt, each detail reflects a thoughtful approach to design and craftsmanship. Understated tailoring informs the silhouette, with a focus on balance, refinement, and ease.
The collection is designed to feel effortless yet considered—pieces that move fluidly between occasions, from a tailored blouse with denim to coordinated sets and softly layered prints. With a focus on versatility, a few well-chosen garments become the foundation of a lasting wardrobe.
Permanent and recurring styles anchor the collection, speaking to the brand’s belief in timeless design and enduring value. These pieces are made to be worn and cherished over time, each one reflecting the label’s commitment to quality and intention.
All garments are produced in the EU, using carefully sourced fabrics and trims from Italy and Japan.
Our Responsibility
European Production
All garments are made in Europe in close partnership with trusted suppliers. By valuing craftsmanship and maintaining a short supply chain, we supports responsible production and minimises environmental impact.
Quality & Longevity
We work with natural, high-quality materials such as 100% OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, selected for their ability to age beautifully. Each piece reflects a commitment to sustainability through thoughtful design and enduring craftsmanship.
Resell Platform
Our platform Save a Shirt gives garments new life and purpose. By encouraging reuse and extending the lifespan of each piece, we take an active step toward a more circular and mindful wardrobe, one that values longevity over excess.
Leftover fabrics
We carefully repurpose leftover fabrics to create additional shirts, helping to reduce waste and make the most of every material. This mindful approach allows us to give new purpose to what remains, ensuring each piece is thoughtfully made and crafted with care.

Our community
At the heart of everything we do is our community that is built on the belief that clothing is more than fashion – it's expression, identity, and empowerment.
Through our ongoing series, Shirt Chronicles, we invite inspiring women to share their personal and creative stories, reflections on their lives, what fuels their passions, and how they interpret and shape fashion in their own unique ways.
