The Silhouettes

Britt Sisseck’s background in made to measure comes across in the way pieces are cut and constructed, where every style is adjusted in its different sizes depending on the silhouette and with a finely tuned attention to detail. We work with four main shirt and blouse ‘bodies’ that cater to different shapes, needs and looks. These four cuts – A, B, C and D – never change, making it easy to shop for the right size and fit.

A styles

Styles beginning with A will always have the same fit.

This style has a hint of a puff sleeve and subtle ruching down the front and back, which creates plenty of room across the bust. To balance the volume in the sleeves and body, the shoulders are cut slightly slimmer.

B styles

Styles beginning with B will always have the same fit.

The womenswear version of an oversize boyfriend shirt, this style has been tweaked in the arm openings and neck for a more feminine feel. If you prefer a less oversize look you can typically opt to go down a size.

C styles

Styles beginning with C will always have the same fit.

A classic shape with a slightly more defined waist and darts to accommodate the bust. The length is shorter, making it ideal for tucking into trousers or skirts. If you prefer a slightly oversize look you can go up a size.

D styles

Styles beginning with D will always have the same fit.

A square cut shape with fitted shoulders that embodies simplicity. Perfect with silk separates for a sleek and unfussy silhouette.
